Zakery Jonathan “Zak” Wild, 17, was born April 22, 1998 and passed on August 3, 2015 from a car accident.
Zakery is survived by his mother, Amy Zak; father, Jonathan Wild; brother, Darren Wild; grandparents, Michael and Judy Zak; two uncles, Duanne Zak and George (Leslie) Zak; aunt, Melissa (Michael) Armistead; and two cousin, Michael E. Zak and Madison Armistead.
Zak didn’t have many friends but there were two, Sean and Parker, that were like brothers to him. Zak was a shy, but caring, young man and for those that got to know him, see him and talk to him, know that life hadn’t been easy for him. But no matter what was bothering him, he was able to still smile and laugh and make jokes that would make you laugh until it brought tears to your eyes.
His optimism was contagious to all that knew him. Zakery carried a passion for all animals and was going to graduate in the class of 2016. He couldn’t wait to graduate so he could start his childhood dream of being a veterinarian and relax by playing his guitar. Because of his passion for all animals, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter on behalf of Zakery Wild.
Life Commemoration services will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Cremation has taken place.
