Wretha Clardy Manley, 94, passed away May 22, 2014 in Cheyenne.
She was born to Vernon and Elizabeth (Tomlinson) Clardy on May 30, 1919 in Lovington, New Mexico. She married Murray Edward Manley in 1937 in Lovington, New Mexico. She served as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts, specifically Thompson Poudre District, and served as a Cub Scouts Den Mother. She was also an organizer for Cub Day Camp. She was a proud recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution. Wretha was an avid bridge player and earned numerous master points.
She is survived by her son John Allen Manley; brother Nat Clardy; and grandchildren Clifford Patrick, Diane Lynn, and Allen Murray Ham.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter Elnora Irene Ham; and brothers Wayne, Hugh, and Richard Clardy.
Cremation has occurred at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Interment will occur at a later date in Eads, Colorado.
