Wilson F. Sellner, Sr., 82, of Cheyenne passed away December 29th at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 5, 1935 in Faribault, Minnesota.
Wilson served in the Air Force and was a Korean War veteran. A graduate of Louisiana State University he also received a music degree from Laramie County Community College. He was a cartographer for the Wyoming Department of Transportation before his retirement.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, the director of the Cheyenne Civic Concert Band for 25 years, and the CFD Parade Committee for over 40 years, becoming a HEEL in 1995. He also volunteered at the hospital information desk for 11 years.
Wilson is survived by his three sons, Eric Sellner, Paul Sellner, and Wilson F. “Rick” Sellner, Jr.; brother, Herbert Sellner; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia and parents, Walter and Grace Sellner.
Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
