William Tibbits, of Carpenter, died Saturday, August 27, 2016.
He was born May 30, 1928 in Denver, Colorado, a son to Sidney and Olive Tibbits. He graduated from Ft. Collins high school in 1946. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a lifelong farmer and rancher, ranching in Livermore, Colorado and farming in Carpenter, Wyoming since the mid 1970’s.
Survivors include a niece, Marina Watson of Pine Bluffs; two great nephews, Mark Metz and Marty Watson, of Pine Bluffs and two great great nephews, Kyle and Thor Metz of Loveland, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Esther Neal.
Services will be Friday, September 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs United Methodist Church. Interment will be Tuesday, September 6th at 10:30 a.m.. at the Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins.
