William A. Stillwell, 88, of Cheyenne passed away April 21st at Davis Hospice Center.
He was born May 30, 1928 in Cheyenne and lived here most of his life.
William served in the United States Air Force and Merchant Marines.
He worked for Mountain Bell, Laramie County School District and the City of Cheyenne.
William was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, drawing and sketching, water skiing in his younger years, and he was an avid sports fan, particularly the Broncos and Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Sharon Brown and Sally Jinkins; three step-daughters, Brenda Crisman, Bernice Mattos, and Bobbie Jo Williams; sister, Oleva Witt; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and three nieces, Penny McDaniel, Karla Gilmore, and Paula Howell.
William was preceded by his parents, Ode and Myrtle Stillwell; son, Michael Stillwell; two sisters, Fay McDaniel and Valetta Martin and a nephew.
Viewing will be Sunday, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and Monday, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Services 3:00 p.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
