Willard I. “Steel Will” Newell, 39, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Cheyenne.
He was born on September 29, 1977 in Monroe, Louisiana and had lived here since 1988.
“Toot” was a cook and enjoyed art, music, family, and Jeopardy.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph L. Newell of Louisiana and Audrey Newell of Ft. Collins, Colorado; siblings, James Barron of Denver, Colorado, Verna Lawson (Wendell) of Cheyenne, Willie Ruth Williams of Monroe, Russell Grayson (Sherri Taylor) of Cheyenne, and Paula Potter (James) of Cheyenne; girlfriend, Naya Maloy of Cheyenne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
