Wendell “Todd” Fisher, 58, of Cheyenne, died on February 2, 2024 in Cheyenne.
He was born on February 13, 1965 in Cheyenne.
Todd dedicated 40 years to Albertson's grocery store, working his way from bag boy to management in both Cheyenne and Colorado.
He was a jack-of-all-trades, passionate about collecting tools, movies, or even computer parts. He often had just the right part ready for any home repair needed. Todd was also known for his green thumb, expertly caring for his many houseplants. He often shared his self-canned goods as well as his homemade jerky. Todd cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored and babysat with love and care (He was an expert potty trainer).
He was a wonderful caretaker for his elderly parents-in-law, they often tell anyone who will listen just how great he is. In their words “Todd can do anything”.
He fought polycystic kidney disease and was a transplant recipient in 2023 to much celebration, please consider becoming an organ donor in his memory.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Fisher; mother-in-law, Tillie Pacheco; sister-in-law, Cathy Lujan; his brothers, Eddie Fisher and Kenneth Fisher; children, Janee Fernandez, Briana Avila, Tori Launer, Keith Launer, and Michael Launer; grandchildren, Lyric(19), Andres(14), Amron(11), Lucca(5), Zaiden(14), Ezequiel(13), Ariana(9), Alviah(7), and Stella(2); and too many nieces, nephews, family, and friends to name.
Todd was preceded in death by Wendell Fisher (father); Peggy Johns (mother); Danny Fisher (brother); Pedro Pacheco (father-in-law); Jona Fisher (sister-in-law); Stephanie Fisher (niece); and his beloved dogs, Honey and Jr.
A Celebration of Todd’s Life will be Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with a reception to immediately follow at The Gathering Place.
