Wanda F. Saylor passed away at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, WY on December 4, 2022. She was 92 years old. Wanda was born December 20, 1929, in Lake Waccamaw, NC and was the youngest of 6 children. She was married in June of 1949 and lived in Baltimore, MD until she and her family moved to Valparaiso, Indiana.
She had many hobbies including golfing, sewing, and gardening. She was active in the American Legion Post 94 along with her husband and served in several capacities including President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Wanda moved to Cheyenne, WY in 2018 to be closer to her family. She was able to spend quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were her greatest joy, and she was very proud of them all.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, five siblings and her husband James E. Saylor. She is survived by her son, Michael J. Saylor (Martha Moore); daughter, Gail L Crabtree (Doug); grandchildren, Amy Romero (Jesse), Leslie Miller (Cameron) and Jesse T. Perkins (Desiree Snyder); and great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Hannah, Brenden, Kinsley Romero, and Lily Miller.
Cremation has taken place in Cheyenne by Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes. Her family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later time. Wanda was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed.
