Virginia Faith Nichols, 87, of Cheyenne passed away June 11, 2015 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 25, 1928 in Liberty, Nebraska and had lived here for more than 60 years.
Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church where she played the organ for many years and had many friends. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Terri Nichols of Montrose, Colorado; six grandchildren, Brian (Melanie) Nichols of Cheyenne, Rod (Candace) Nichols of Navarre, Florida, Trent (Cindy) Nichols of Milliken, Colorado, Heather (Troy) Jackson of Loveland, Colorado, Shawn (Maria) Nichols of Montrose, Colorado, and Ryan Nichols of Montrose, Colorado and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nichols; three sons, Dallas, Allan, and Raymond Nichols; parents, Dallas Davis and Hope Richardson and a great-grandson, Jarrod Nichols.
Virginia leaves behind a legacy of faith and strength through adversity and challenges.
Commemoration of Life will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday at First Baptist Church.
