Virginia L Gorrell

April 4, 1938 — September 8, 2021

Virginia Lorraine Bach Gorrell, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend was called home into the arms of the Lord on September 8, 2021 in Cheyenne Wyoming.
She was born and began her life journey on April 4, 1938 in Wolf Point, Montana. Virginia had an immense love and belief in the Lord and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. She was raised on her family farm where she learned and later perfected her skills of cooking, sewing, crocheting, gardening, and landscaping. Virginia also was very talented in making ceramics, playing various instruments as well as singing, especially holidays when family would gather to sing with her while she displayed her musical talent. She enjoyed taking many pictures to compose scrapbooks of family memories as well as documenting family history so her loved ones could know and remember each other. Her quick wit will be fondly remembered as she never missed an opportunity to lovingly participate in sarcastic humor. Virginia had an unconditional love for her family. Her physical presence in our lives will be greatly missed but her love and memories will forever remain in our hearts.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Morris Bach and Doris Mardrid Bach, Edward Joseph Bach and Marjorie Fern Bach; her son, Wayne Ray Gorrell; and husband, James Garnet Gorrell. She is survived by her children, Alan (Jonell) Gorrell, Becky (Ken) DeVos, Robert (Beth) Gorrell and Connie Edmonds; grandchildren, Talla Archuleta, Pamela McCarthy, Cassy Lambeth and David Gorrell; great grandchildren, Joseph Archuleta, Haley Gorrell, Evelyn McCarthy, Morgan Lambeth, Kevin James McCarthy, Abigail McCarthy and Freya Gorrell; sisters, Georgia "Georgie" Willoughby, Geraldine "Gerri" Pecenka and Jacqueline "Jackie" Boggs; brothers, Lee Bach and Dean Bach, and also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
