Vide Mirich, 77, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 4, 1937 in Gebo, Wyoming and had lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Mirich was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Women’s Philoptochos Committee, and the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies, and loved her grandchildren and attending all of their events.
She is survived by a son, Sam Mirich (Cathy) of Cheyenne; a daughter, Dory Clark (Joe) of Cheyenne; three brothers, Milton Damjanovich of Billings, Montana, and Rich Damjanovich (Bonnie) and Vidak Damjanovich, both of Bozeman, Montana; five sisters, Daisy Carlson (Ben), Mileva Hudson (Cloyd), Stella Openshaw (Deryl), Cristina Damjanovich, and Anje Openshaw, all of Billings; and three grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Mirich, and Laine Clark, all of Cheyenne.
Mrs. Mirich was preceded in death by her husband Nick Mirich on December 9, 2013. They were married on September 14, 1957 in Billings. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Pete and Drago Damjanovich; a sister, Helen Klundt; and her parents, Blazo and Drage (Vujovich) Damjanovich.
Trisagion services will be Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Services will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church with Father Jason Dickey officiating.
Interment will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Don Hollingshead, Chris Vrkljan, Carl Openshaw, John Lambousis, Rich Damjanovich, and Nicholas Mirich.
Honorary pallbearers are Bob Vunovich, Nathan Mirich, Laine Clark, and Jon Radomsky.
