Victoria “Vicki” Robinson, 62, of Cheyenne, a devoted wife, mother, friend, and teacher, died July 17 in Cheyenne after a courageous battle with cancer. Vigil for the deceased will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel on Thursday at 6pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Mary’s Cathedral Friday July 24, 2015 at 10:30am. . In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Davis Hospice Center. She was born July 27, 1952, in Cheyenne to John and La Verna Vetter. She grew up in Orchard Valley and graduated from Cheyenne East High School in 1970. She continued her studies at the University of Wyoming and graduated in 1973 with a double major in English and French. Vicki was a French teacher at Cheyenne East High School for 35 years. Her caring, positive, and sincere personality allowed her to form lasting bonds with her students. It was not unusual for former students to meet her for lunch while they were in town. As a teacher, Vicki was the sponsor of many clubs, like French club, travel club, and ski club. Vicki had many interests, but her number one priority was her family. She married Rick Robinson on July 5, 1986, and they had two children, Heather Robinson Tyrrell and Christopher Robinson. Countless family get-togethers, trips, and experiences will be forever cherished. Vicki was fortunate - fortunate to have caring people in her life, be it her loving family, her kind friends, or her caregivers. She will be remembered. She is survived by her husband, her daughter, her son, her brother Douglas Vetter, and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
