Timothy “Tim” John Greene, 71, died on December 28, 2021 in his
Cheyenne home. He was born on January 9, 1950 in Cheyenne to Gordon
and Katherine Greene.
During his High School years he played trumpet in the band and was
chosen to participate in All State Band and All-Northwest Band. He
graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in 1968 and then attended
the University of Northern Colorado for a year studying Music. Tim
transferred to the University of Wyoming and received his degree in
Psychology in 1973.
Before following his passion for law enforcement Tim drove various routes
for Continental Trailways Bus Line and was a Sales Representative for

Sheriff’s Office. He was a patrol deputy, hostage negotiator, a defensive
tactics instructor, active shooter instructor, patrol sergeant and detective
sergeant. He worked his way up through the ranks and during his last four
years he was the Operations Captain when Roger Allsop was Sheriff. Tim
retired from the Sheriff’s Office in January of 2003.
Later in 2003 Tim and several others started Integrated Investigations
Incorporated. When this business ended he started Continental
Investigations. Attorneys and businesses often asked him to conduct
background checks. His last endeavor was as a safety consultant for
Dobbs Trucking Company.
Tim quietly cared about people in need and was thoughtful, kind and
generous to many. He will be missed.
Tim is survived by his sister Judith Kay Fredericksen and nephew Kevin
Paul Bailey, both of Aurora, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his
