Timothy Earl Koehler, 59, of Cheyenne, died on June 7, 2023 in Cheyenne.
He was born on February 4, 1964 in Cheyenne.
Tim was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Cheyenne. He graduated from East High School in 1982. Tim joined the Navy and served from 1985-19991 as an Instrument Technician on the USS Fulton, out of New London, Connecticut.. Tim married Christina Sweets in 1997. He earned a degree from IBMC in Occupational Studies in 2013 and began work as a Program Support to the V.A. Chaplains at the Cheyenne VA Hospital. He loved spending time with his wife, Christina. Tim was especially proud to be a grandpa for his 3 grandchildren and spending time with them.
He enjoyed building models in his spare time.
Tim is survived by his wife, Christina; two stepsons, Benjamin Sweets and Christopher Crawford (Emma Cloud); 3 grandchildren, Amor, Jayleigh,and Kasetyn; mother-in-law, Nona Sweets; his wife's grandmother, Thelma Kedu; brother-in-law, Anthony Sweets,(Tracy); his sister, Melodie Vinzant (Quentin) and nephews Paul, and Curtis, his sister, Sandy Chapin (Chuck), nephew, Sean Peron, and nieces, Stephanie Peron and Nicole Blue, and his sister, Debra Robbins (Charles), niece, Sara Thornhill, nephew, Charles Robbins,and niece, Anna Hackney; and many great nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by hiis parents, Earl and Ethel Koehler; his paternal grandparents, Kurt and Gertrude Koehler; his maternal grandparents, Carl and Christina Erickson; his wife's father, Larry Dean Sweets; and numerous aunts and uncles on both sides.
Services will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Placement in Cheyenne National Cemetery will be Wednesday, 12:00 p.m.
