Tom unexpectedly had a heart attack on December 9th, 2023. Tom lovingly started his life in this world on August 15th, 1961, at DePaul hospital where he became the eighth of nine children. He lived in Cheyenne most of his life and graduated from East High School and then attended Laramie County Community College where he graduated with his mechanic certifications. He then joined the Army and had his two sons with his first wife. He would go on to work in the aviation industry as an aircraft mechanic and his second wife passed. He met his third wife and last wife who he shared 4 children with from her previous marriage and 1 daughter they had together.
Tom enjoyed going on adventures with his family, fishing, Camping, and volunteering at Holly Frontier. Tom was a devout Christian and attended services regularly and he was the Vice President of Cheyenne’s chapter of the NAACP. Tom struggled with Alcohol and Drug addiction throughout his life and was with the help of AA and NA able to maintain sobriety for many years until his death. He was a frequent supporter and sponsor within the community and loved his fellow recoveries.
He is survived by his siblings, Debra A. Haverman, Patricia J. Mages, Micheal Foley, Lucy Sauer; children, Thomas L. Foley, Estelle L Foley; stepchildren, Sylvannah M. Connolly, Amanda D. Bach, John E. Connolly, Christopher Connolly; and his grandchildren, Isabella G. Foley, Lucas J. Foley, Alexia L. Foley, Levie M.R. Jordan, Alora L. Bach, John M. Connolly, Daniel E. Connolly, Brandon L. Connolly, Kale L. Connolly, Julian F. Connolly
He is preceded by his parents, Robert W. Foley, Elsie l. Foley; sister, Mary Perue , Roberta Crawford, and Julie Owens; and his son, Levi R. Foley.
There will be a Viewing on Thursday from 9-4:00 p.m., and his Funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m., with a reception to follow. Everything will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
