On July 24, 2015 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend Theresa Trujillo, 84, was welcomed into Heaven. She passed away peacefully in the evening surrounded by her loved ones in Cheyenne.
Theresa was welcomed to the world on June 22, 1931 in Roy, New Mexico to parents Frank and Frutosa (Baca) Lujan. She was the youngest of 10 children. She was a bright young girl who received her schooling in New Mexico.
In 1946, Theresa traveled to Mora, New Mexico to marry the love of her life, Sol Trujillo. After the wedding, Theresa & Sol moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming to start their beautiful family: Margie, Terri and Solomon Jr. (Dennis).
Theresa was not only a loving & compassionate mother to her three children, but she was also a career woman, working in both retail and accounting. She also loved listening to her husband's music in addition to dancing, traveling and playing the slot machines.
Theresa never spoke a negative word about anyone. She was optimistic, kind, gentle, thoughtful and compassionate. She was soft spoken, but she left an enormous impact on the hearts of all of those who were blessed to know her.
Theresa is not only survived by her husband Sol Trujillo of Cheyenne, but also her children, Solomon (Corine) Trujillo of Dana Point, California; two daughters, Margie (Romie) Puente and Terri (David) Sais both of Cheyenne; her two sisters, Martha (Al) Tafoya of Phoenix, Arizona and Vangie (Frankie) Lucero of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her brother Henry Lujan of Las Vegas New Mexico; her six granddaughters and seven great grandchildren, all of whom love her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters whom she now joins in Heaven.
Theresa's warm, gentle heart and earthly presence will be missed beyond measure. But, she is now a guardian angel looking down on her husband and family.
