Theodore Clarence Roberts, 92, passed away on May 4, 2016 in Cheyenne. Ted was born in Green River, Wyoming, on July 29, 1924 to Elmer and Eleanor Roberts. He served in the Army during WWII, proudly fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. Afterward, he traveled to Hawaii where he graduated from the University of Hawaii and worked as a public school teacher for many years. He continued to volunteer in schools around Cheyenne well past retirement.
Ted was an avid reader, writer, collector, and artist who started each day with a dance and loved to challenge the minds of those around him.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, brother John, and daughter Cecelia Cannici. He is loved and missed by sister Betty Lewis, daughters Elizabeth (Rich) Mitman and Judi (Rick) Kriss, six grandchildren and their spouses, three great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, friends, and neighbors, who will think of him fondly
whenever they see a $2 bill. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Cheyenne's VA Medical Center for their loving care.
