Thelton Quay Skipper, 75, of Cheyenne, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
He was born on October 10, 1942 in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Mr. Skipper was a former Stake President and Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Thelton loved his family, church and work.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Skipper; four children, Kristi Skipper, Kerri Zimmerman (Michael), Kimberly Asay (Brigham), and John Skipper (Taryn); a brother, Dyion Skipper; two sisters, Gwen Canady and Bess Skipper; and nine grandchildren, Meghan, Mckayla, Emily, Zachary, Madeline, Natalie, Benjamin, Conrad and Adalee.
Mr. Skipper was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Skipper; and a brother, Wycuff Skipper.
Visitation will Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel, and Monday, 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) Four Mile Building.
Services will be Monday, 1:30 p.m, at the LDS Church Four Mile Building with burial to follow in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
