Tammy Rene Rasnake

December 4, 1964 — August 2, 2023

Tammy was born December 04, 1964, in Denver, Colorado, left this Earthly realm to be with her heavenly father on August 02, 2023, and was reunited with her husband James “Jimbo” Rasnake who passed on April 10, 2022.
Her parents are Rosie White-Forbes and the late Edston Forbes; brother, Robert F.V. Johnson Sr. and his wife Susan Johnson, their children Robert Johnson Jr., Breanna Lucky and her husband Devin; brother, Josh Forbes and his wife Janna and their children Angel and Josiah.
Tammy had deep roots in Cheyenne, Wyoming as a graduate of Central High School and completed her associate degree from Laramie County Community College (LCCC).
She worked at United Medical Center for 23 years as a patient liaison, a position that allowed her to use her warm and caring nature in service of the residents of Cheyenne and the surrounding Wyoming area.
Tammy enjoyed traveling, shopping, and despite her small stature loved to eat. She was a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and inside and out a beautiful person.
She loved her husband, she loved her family, she loved her community, and she loved her dogs Bixby and Beauregard.
Tammy’s smile could light up a room and her hugs made you feel like you were wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold Wyoming day.
It is impossible to sum up Tammy’s love for others in words, but a quote from Maya Angelou comes closest “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.”
