Susan Emily (Hager, Swanson) Ness, 71, passed away peacefully May 23 at Davis Hospice Center, surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 4, 1945, in Torrington.
Susie is survived by her first husband, Dr. Norman Swanson of Cheyenne; her husband, Alan Ness of Cheyenne; children, Justin Swanson of Everett, Wash., Lisa (Swanson) Stromberg of Salem, S.D., Katie (Swanson) Talbott of Cheyenne and Kelly (Swanson) Odean of Johnstown, Colo.; stepchildren, Bethany (Ness) Willmarth of Cheyenne and Jordan Ness of Cheyenne; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchild; sister, Ardyce (Hager) Jaastad of Woodbury, Minn.; and brother, Bob Hager of San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annabelle (Cummins) Hager; and her father, Laurence (Bud) Hager; as well as Bob and Hester Chaffin.
Cremation has taken place.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Funeral Home.
