Steven Roger Sunderman lost his battle with Mesothelioma on October 23, 2023 at his home in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Steve was a real Wyoming man. He had the talent of a carpenter, strength of a farmer, and the mind of an engineer. He called Michigan, Utah, California, and Wyoming home. Steve received three Purple Hearts while serving in Vietnam for the United States Army. He was a proud union worker and member of the Communications Workers of America, alongside his job as a Telecommunications Technician, for 31 years. In retirement, Steve spent his time in leadership roles with the Scouting movement and was responsible for maintaining many campgrounds and wilderness areas used by scout troops across Southeast Wyoming. He is survived by his bride, son, daughter-in-law and sister. Please share your memories of Steve with us, and be informed of Steve's remembrance, by emailing
