Shirley I. Sedgwick, 85, of Cheyenne, died on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Cheyenne.
She was born on January 24, 1930 in Parco, Wyoming and had lived in Cheyenne for 70 years.
Shirley had retired as an acquisition coordinator at the Wyoming State Library. She was a member of Cowgirls of the West, and enjoyed reading, sewing, and jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by a son, John Sedgwick of Cheyenne.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Sedgwick; her parents, Gordon and Stepha Lawrence; one sister; and one brother.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
