Shirley Marie Garrison, 88, of Cheyenne, passed at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 10, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Fred and Mary (Nitz) Kelzer.
She enjoyed crafting and baking of all sorts, playing cards with friends, and cooking enough food to feed a starving nation. Shirley always had her house decorated for every holiday. She was a master seamstress. She loved going to the mountains, fishing, and camping. On the weekends she would go to garage sales and find all the bargains.
She was survived by her daughters, Cindy and Catherine (Randy); grandkids, Jesse (Retta), Angel, Alex and Mikki; eight great grandchildren; and numerous extended family. All of which she loved dearly.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack.
The following is a prayer that Shirley would say to the family. O my God, I adore you and love you with all of my heart. I thank you for having created me, having saved me by your grace, and for having preserved me during this day. I pray that you will take for yourself whatever good I might have done this day and will forgive me for any evil I might have done. Protect me this night, and may your grace be with me always and with those I love. All the glory goes to God.
She was loved by so many. Her laugh we will never forget.
