Shelly Lynn Hollingsworth, 58, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 2, 1964, in Seville, Spain on the San Pablo Air Force Base, to James and Annette (Newell).
She was a child in a military home she traveled from place to place. But ending here in Cheyenne where she graduated from Central High School in 1982.
Shelly is survived by her father, James (Nancy) Hollingsworth of Cheyenne; brothers, Tim (Lisa) Hollingsworth of Thorton, CO and Chad (Becky) Hollingsworth of Cheyenne; step-brothers, George (Kim) Refior, Jr. of Valapariso, NE and Terry (Crystal) Refior of Louisville, NE; aunts, Shirley Newell, Norton, KS and Janet Gross of Salina, KS; nephews, Nate Hollingsworth, Jeff and Mike Wilson; niece, Kaycee (Matt) Dolphin; great-nephews, Jack and Ole Dolphin; special friend, Tracy (Mark) Thompson; and many cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Annette Hollingsworth, Cheyenne; niece, Korry Wilson; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Pete Poroch, Mill Valley, CA, and Mr. & Mrs. Emile Newell, Palco, KS and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10am, Thursday, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Olivet Cemetery.
