Shaun Patrick Gleave left this world on June 27, 2022. He fought very hard every single day, but in the end, cancer took an amazing individual from us.
Shaun was born on July 25, 1974. He grew up and went to school in Magna, UT where there wasn’t a mirror Shaun could walk past without having to check himself out. He and his nine siblings were very close and did most everything together. Shaun married his high school sweetheart, Wendy, right out of school and began their own little family. The two of them moved to Cheyenne, WY shortly after their first son, Jacob was born. Cheyenne is where they have continued to live and make their home with their additional three sons, Dominic, Trevor and Ian.
Shaun began working in construction right away and was able to do what he loved for most of his life. His family regularly called to pick his brain about renovations or ongoing building projects they needed help figuring out. He was always ready and willing to give a helping hand. In his free time, he enjoyed drawing, watching movies, reading, and growing a virtual jungle in his home thanks to his very green thumb. What Shaun loved most was spending time with his family and loved ones.
Shaun has been preceded by his grandparents; uncle, Russ; aunt, Starley; nephew, Josh; cousin, Seth; father-in-law, Jay; and a few very close friends he grew up with.
He leaves behind his wife, Wendy; four sons, Jacob (Alanis); Dominic, Trevor, and Ian. He was also a very proud grandfather to his only grandchild, Noah.
Shaun will be greatly missed by his parents, Chris and Cyndy; his nine siblings, Jordan, Stephanie, Suzy, Casey, Joey, Erick, Chrisann, Mike, Tony and many, many, many, (his mom was one of 14 children) aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
