Sharon Ann Willits, 73, of Cheyenne passed away August 31 at Life Care Center in Cheyenne.
She was born September 21, 1943 in Los Angeles, California and lived in Colorado and Wyoming. She had lived at the Life Care Center for 12 years.
Sharon was a retired R.N. and Eastern Star member, a life-long lover of flowers, butterflies, birds, wind chimes, doing needle work, crocheting, watching movies and reading Steven King novels. She enjoyed sending cards to her family and friends to make sure they knew they were loved, remembered, and thanked. Sharon loved visiting with her family and friends, and was an active member of the Miracle Valley Church and the community at the Life Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerald and Arlene Wiese and two spouses, Samuel “Speed” Isabell (widowed) and Lani Willits.
Sharon is survived by her four children, her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Ann Isabell (grandchildren Angela, Samuel, Amanda), her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Lisa Isabell (grandchildren Ronald, Heather, Levi), her daughter and daughter-in-law Deirdre Willits and Keri Boyd, and her son and daughter-in-law Brendan and Sarah Willits (grandchildren Jacob, Ethan, Andrew); two brothers, Steven Wiese and Roger Wiese; and seven great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 8 at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel in Cheyenne. The interment will occur at a later date in the Wheatland, WY Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Care Center of Cheyenne, Resident Scholarship Fund, in Memory of Sharon Willits (1330 Prairie Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82009) to contribute to the activities department in which she was so active.
