Sharon Jean Oines, 60, formerly of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Casper.
She was born on January 31, 1957 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and had lived in Cheyenne most of her life.
Sharon had a gentle heart and loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed crafts, bowling, movies, watching M*A*S*H on television, and was the #1 Broncos Fan. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, ARC of Laramie County, and participated in Special Olympics.
She is survived by two sisters, Judy (David) Adams of Cheyenne and Barbara (Paul) Mockett of Seattle, Washington; nieces and nephews, Brian (Ashley) Adams, Brett (Carmelle) Adams-Case, Andy (Emilie) Adams and Dan (Emily) Adams, and Amelia, Mark, and Katy Mockett; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Norris and Shirley Oines.
Services will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Christ Lutheran Church. She was a loyal sports fan, so attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s clothing.
Cremation will follow, and burial of her urn will be at a later date.
Friends may contribute to Special Olympics or ARC of Laramie County.
