March 23, 1960 – September 2. 2017

Shanna Lynn, 57, quietly and peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of September 2nd, with her children and her close friend by her side.

Shanna was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the first of four children. She attended Central High School, graduating in 1978. She attended the University of Wyoming, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She met Jamie Gary while attending U of W., married in Cheyenne in 1989, and moved to Illinois. In 1991 their first of three children were born and Shanna became a stay at home mom.

She was a warm, loving and giving person. Her family meant the world to her. She cherished her children, was devoted to her parents and was always interested in her siblings’ lives.

Shanna loved the outdoors, especially the mountains. She was a “MTN GIRL” as this was her license plate. Her many pets were always treated as one of the family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mario and Helen (Piotrowski) Maraldo, Fred and Bertha (Cook) Fisch and two aunts, Evelyn Baird and Donna Hayes.

She is survived by her three children; Hadley Gary, Samantha (Nick) Skuce and Matthew Gary; her parents Harry and Judy (Maraldo) Fisch; her siblings Bob and his children; Jeanette and her daughter and her two children, her brother John and her close friend of 15 years, Steve Ori. She also leaves behind many Aunts, nieces and nephews and the friends that she made during her life.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Wiederspahn/Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes, 1900 E. 19th St., Cheyenne, Wy.
