Ruth Ann Tibbets, 76, of Cheyenne, died Friday, November 25, 2016 at Davis Hospice Center.
She was born December 16, 1939 in St. Joseph, Missouri, a daughter to Alvin and Ruth Brown. Ruth received her schooling in Missouri, transferring to Natrona high school in Casper, Wyoming for her final year. Ruth married Donald L. Tibbets, Sr., on June 5, 1958 in Casper and they moved to Cheyenne in 1961.
She was a member of the Cheyenne North Baptist Church and very involved in Church activities. In earlier years she was a volunteer at the Library, involved in 4-H and Girl Scouts, loved reading, tracing genealogy, cross stitching and was a loving and caring mother.
She is survived by her husband Don of Cheyenne; two sons, Donald (Beth) Tibbets Jr., of Cheyenne; Tim (Debbie) Tibbets of Salt Lake City; two daughters, Joan Tibbets of Cheyenne; Sandra (Frank) Hinners of Maricopa, Arizona; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Anne Marie Tibbets, a granddaughter, Krystal Ann Tibbets, and a brother, Robert A. Brown.
