Ruby Fern Ghan, 90, passed away on Dec. 14, 2013, in Tempe, Ariz.
She was born on March 20, 1923, to Oscar and Ruby Linn in Kimball, Neb. She attended school and graduated from Kimball High School. She worked on B-26's in Casper during World War II, later moving to Denver where she met and married Jr. Ghan. The family lived in Cheyenne and Ruby worked as a homemaker until 2000. She liked to bowl, and later in life became quite a fisherwoman.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond (Anne) Ghan of Cheyenne, Robert (Jeanie) Ghan of Tempe and Thomas (the late Connie) Ghan of Prescott, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Carl) Love of Oregon and Mary Moore of Kimball; brother, QG Linn Jr. of Harrisburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; husband, Jr. Ghan; daughter-in-law, Connie Ghan; and Ruby preceded her sister, Anna Margaret Peterson
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wiederspahn-Radomksy Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
