Royeden E. McCracken, 85, of Cheyenne died Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Davis Hospice Center.
He was born February 14, 1930 in Pilot Knob Township, Illinois.
Roy joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 19 and served for nine years.
He married Esther Hehr of Cheyenne December 10, 1949.
He was a carpenter and retired from the Local Brotherhood of Carpenters Union #469 and the State of Wyoming.
Roy enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing and was an avid bowler.
He is survived by his wife, Esther; three children, Helen (Kenny) Roylance, Royeden J. (Gail) McCracken, and Linda (Roy) Beaver; step-brother, Dan Akeman; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents, Royeden and Carrie McCracken and siblings, Jane McCracken Donald McCracken, and Dale McCracken.
Life Commemoration services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Cremation has taken place.
