Rosario “Roy” Tarallo, Jr., 72, of Cheyenne, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the VA Medical Center.
He was born February 19, 1942 in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Rosario and Antonina (LaRocca) Tarallo.
Roy attended schools in Lowell before joining the U. S. Navy where he served for 4 years before joining the Reserves.
Roy moved to Cheyenne in 1977. He married Judith J. Massetti on February 29, 1980 in Cheyenne.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge; the Airport Golf Club; AmVets; the American Legion; and he was a volunteer for Frontier Days for over 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Judith J. Tarallo of Cheyenne; a daughter, Anne Forbes of Nova Scotia; step-daughter, Julie Scherr of Columbus, Ohio; step-son, Richard Massetti, Jr., of McKinney, Texas; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Alphonse and Joseph Tarallo.
Private Family Interment has already taken place and a Celebration of Life Service is being planned for a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter in Roy’s name.
