Ronald E. Kailey, Sr., 77, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Cheyenne.
He was born on August 15, 1941 in Sunrise, Wyoming.
Mr. Kailey served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He later became a Civil Service infrastructure manager. Ron was a jack-of-all trades and loved to take on any project. He was dedicated to giving back to the children and veterans of Cheyenne through numerous fundraising opportunities. He loved to hunt, ride his motorcycle, and was devoted to lending a helping hand to his family and friends. Ron is loved by many and led an extraordinary and full life. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Kailey of Cheyenne; his children, Melody Kailey-Watters (Larry) of Burns, Ron Kailey, Jr. (Linda) of Cheyenne, Lalonnie Jay (Steve) of Aurora, Colorado, and Philip McBride of Cheyenne; two siblings, Sherry Walsh (Rick) and Casey Kailey (Lori) of Cheyenne; fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kailey was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Kailey; and his parents, Dale and Grace Kailey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Services will be Friday, 2:30 p.m., at the Cheyenne Church of Christ.
