Rocky Vroman, 35, of Cheyenne died July 22 in Cheyenne. He was born March 29, 1979, in Cheyenne.
At the time of his passing, Rocky was an associate with Throne Law Office of Cheyenne. Prior to his employment with Throne Law, he was a JAG officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for nine years, during which time he was stationed in Okinowa, Japan, and Camp Lejeune, N.C. He was deployed to Afghanistan for six months during his service. He was also a major in the Wyoming Air National Guard at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy (Hensala) Vroman, whom he married April 1, 2002; son, Johnathan Vroman; daughter, Abby Vroman; parents, John and Faith Vroman; brother, Kenneth (Bobbie Jo) Garcia; sisters, Dawn Garcia and Jonnie (Aaron) Genova; nephews, Michael Tammen, Dominic Garcia-Tammen and Joshua Tammen; nieces, Kendra (Michael) Plumlee, Machayla Garcia, Kayde Garcia, Cooper Genova, Sadie Hensala and Kennedy Hensala; his father and mother-in-law, Doug and Shauna Hensala; brothers-in-law, Mike (Laura) Hensala and Jeff Tammen; and great-niece, Amarra Tammen.
He is also survived by his grandmother, Delia Garcia; aunts, Sandra (Don) Stewart, Lavon (Robert) Bonte, Joyce Saquilon, Elaine (Nels) Wallace and Eileen (Michael) Smith; uncles, Lee Garcia and David (Terri) Vroman; cousins, Brian (Jill) Park, Jennifer (Gabriel) Garcia, Jason Martin, Jerry Martin, Audra (Craig) Meyers, Thad (Tiffany) Vroman, Ethan Vroman, Tammy (Mylon) Skala and Boyd (Brenda) Wrede; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins from his Garcia family in Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Kenneth R. Swenson, Ruben J. Garcia and Everett Vroman; grandmothers, Ethel Swenson, Erma Vroman, Geraldine Swenson and Venediza Williams; and his father, Glenn R. Garcia.
He was the brightest star in the universe to those of us who loved him. Our days were brighter while he lived, and our lives are forever changed with his passing.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
