Robert Frank Wink, Jr.

January 30, 1965 — March 1, 2021

Robert Frank Wink Jr., 56, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away late Monday night, March 1, 2021. He was cared for in his final days by his devoted wife, Shelly and her niece, Stephanie Pilgrim, in the comfort of their home.

Robert, known as Bobby by most and Brother Bob at church made Cheyenne his home, where for years he worked as a transmission mechanic. The owner and operator of Drivetrain Specialist. He also owned a trailer park where he labored to provide housing for some of Cheyenne’s most disadvantaged citizens. His life’s work was to help men and women out of addiction and homelessness, and fearlessly share with them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even as his health declined his desire was to talk to one more person about Jesus and the salvation that comes only through faith in Him.

He exemplified “Love thy neighbor”.
Bob would wish to be remembered as a
faithful Brother in Christ, and as a loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janice Wink and his sister, Linda. He is survived by his wife, Shelly; his son, Hunter; his daughter-in-law, Diana; and his brothers Rich and Howard Wink.
In honor of his wishes he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at his church to celebrate his life.
