Robert P. Sadler, 88, of Cheyenne, passed at Life Care Center of Cheyenne surrounded by his loving family.
HE was born on December 17, 1933, in Detroit MI to Arthur Sadler, and Mable Sadler (Everingham)
Robert was a 20-year Veteran of the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force he worked for the Canteen Company (vending machines), Custodian of the First Congregation Church, and at Unicover, where he was a maintenance custodian. When he wasn’t taking care of home, and hearth, he loved spending hours doing crossword puzzles, jig saw puzzles, and the like.
He is survived by two sons, Robert, and James; daughter, Mary Beth (Schmidt); sister, Eileen Anderson; granddaughter, Elisabeth (Ellie) Sadler; grandson, Christopher Schmidt; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary E. Sadler; son, William Sadler; his mother and father; and several brothers, and sisters.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., August 17, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Military Honors will be held at graveside.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any national or local Animal rescue/shelter in his name.
