Robert L. Peterson, 80, of Cheyenne, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Davis Hospice Center.
He was born December 14, 1936 in Aurora, Illinois. He was a Professor at the University of Texas until his retirement when he came to Wyoming.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Peterson of Cheyenne; sister-in-law, Vicki Cravens of Plano, Texas; nephew, Adam Cravens of Plano, Texas; and a niece, Danielle Cravens of Munich, Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Davis Hospice Center or Black Dog Animal Rescue in Cheyenne.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A Celebration of Robert’s life is being planned for a later date.
