Robert (Bob) Duane Morrison, 63, was called home to our Lord Friday, April 1, 2016 surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Robert was born September 25, 1952, in Torrington, Wyoming a son of Kenneth L. and Rosella B. (Brockel) Morrison. Bob started school in Torrington and moved to Cheyenne in 1961 where he graduated with honors prior to attending The University of Wyoming.
In 1971, Robert received the Kiwanis Club Academic Achievement Award and was a member of the East High, Wyoming Football Championship team. He was also involved in wrestling and played the trombone in the Rose Parade. He coached Little League All-Stars, belonged to the Lyons Club, Kiwanis, Rotary, Ducks Unlimited, Elks Lodge, Wyoming Bankers Association and the Wyoming Realtors. Bob was also a private pilot.
Robert married Anna Russell in 2004 in Cheyenne. Survivors include his wife, Anna of Cheyenne; mother, Rosella Morrison of Cheyenne; a son, Tanner Morrison of Laramie; daughter, Canyon Hardesty of Laramie; brother, Randy Morrison of Mesquite, Nevada; sister, Cherly Morrison of Cheyenne; four grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Connie Thompson.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
A viewing will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
