Robert Dean Havens, 80, of Cheyenne, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne.
He was born on November 18, 1935 in Ft. Collins, Colorado and had lived in Cheyenne for 53 years.
Mr. Havens was retired as an engineer with Mountain Bell. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Shriners, the Masonic Lodge for 41 years, the Pioneer Club, and loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, and the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and Denver Nuggets.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Havens, whom he married on September 23, 2005 in Ft. Collins; a son, Michael Havens (JoAnne); a daughter, Donna Hout (Chris); stepson, David Pierson; stepdaughter, Debra Biershenshky (Bill); a sister, Ermalee Harris; and seven grandchildren, Garrett Hout (Amy), Austin and Casey Hout, Chris Havens (Diana), Jennifer Estep (Craig), and Ben and Andrew Havens.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Gene, Bill, Rod, and Charlie Havens; a sister, Delores Roberts; and his parents, Floyd and Leona (Ackerson) Havens.
Life Commemoration services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
