Robert James Corso was born March 13, 1939 in Omaha Nebraska to Michael and Berdene Corso. Bob grew up in Hillsdale Wyoming and moved to Cheyenne after high school. Bob met the love of his life, Linda, on October 15, 1964. Within three months he swept her off her feet in matrimony and in no time began their family. Bob and Linda have spent the last 54 years of marriage enjoying life, friends, and family. Bob worked for the Wyoming Highway Department for 31 years and was blessed enough to spend the last 26 years doing whatever he pleased as a young retired man. He was strong in his faith and believed God had the final answer to all questions asked and unanswered. As a devout Catholic and Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Bob knew this was a temporary life, and when the time came he would not be gone, just physically set free. He loved camping, fishing and golfing. Bob also served his country for 6 years in the Air National Guard. He also loved spending a lot of his spare time volunteering at the KC Hall serving the parishioners of St. Mary's church. Bob is survived by his adoring wife, dog Kaci, children Dan Chiolis, Troy Corso (Jen) and Traci Willingham (Bill), cousins, nieces, nephews and all three of his grand dogs. Bob was preceded in death by both his parents, two siblings Don Corso and Bernard Corso and nephew Mike Corso. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in care of the Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund c/o 507 W. 28th St. Cheyenne, WY 82001. There will be a Vigil for the deceased at Wiederspahn on Thursday November 14th at 6:00pm. Funeral services will be Friday November 15, 2019 at 1:00pm at St. Mary's Cathedral.
