Robert Lee Brinton, 84, of Cheyenne passed away at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center on May 5th, 2020.
Bob was born June 15, 1935, to Wilbur and Mary Brinton in Omaha, NE and he moved with his family to Cheyenne when he was a young boy.
Bob met his wife Jolene when they were teenagers and they remained married until he passed. Bob joined the Army National Guard and retired in 1988 as a Sergeant First Class in the 115th Field Artillery Brigade.
Bob loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family in Centennial, WY at their cabin. Much of Bob’s time was enjoyed at his beloved “Duck Camp,” with his dogs and long-time hunting buddies. He also volunteered his time at Cheyenne Frontier Days as a Mounted Marshall on the Parade Committee.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Jolene, daughter Janice (Amos) Midgley, his brother Don (Louise) Brinton, his grandchildren Heather (Craig) Cowley, Brady (fiancé Tiffany) Brinton, great-grandchildren Jaidyn, Hagen, Alyson, Caitlyn, and many nieces and nephews with whom he greatly adored.
He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his sons, Jeff and Jamie Brinton.
A viewing of Bob has already been held for immediate family, and his remains are to be cremated and spread in the Snowy Range Mountains, which he cherished so much.
