Rex Miller Corsi, 92, of Cheyenne, died in his home on July 6, 2020.
He was born September 30, 1927, at Afton, Wyoming to Harry and Phelma (Miller) Corsi. He grew up in Etna, Wyoming and graduated from Star Valley High School in 1945. He served one year in the United States Navy at San Diego, California, then attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 1951. That same year he began working for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.
He married Nancy Ann Leek in Jackson, Wyoming on October 27, 1956.
During his career with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department he held positions of Fisheries Biologist at Cokeville, Lander and Jackson; Game Warden at Home on the Range, Cody, Ten Sleep and Worland; District Supervisor at Worland for the Big Horn Basin; Assistant Chief Game Warden and Chief Game Warden in Cheyenne. He retired in July of 1989.
He is survived by his twin daughters, Chery A. and Carla J. Corsi of Cheyenne and brother, Roy Corsi of South Jordan, Utah
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; parents and his brothers, Don Corsi of Smith Field, Utah and Mac Corsi of Sandy, Utah.
There will be no funeral services as requested by Rex. Cremation has already occurred.
