René (DeHerrera) Clark, 55, of Cheyenne, died peacefully on January 23, 2016 at CRMC, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
René was born on September 12, 1960 to Abe and Roberta (Vogel) Deherrera in Rawlins. After graduation, René attended LCCC and UW, receiving her undergraduate degree in nursing. René was employed at CRMC for the past 30 years. Her favorite positions were cardiac nurse and the Nurse Manager on the Telemetry Floor.
René was a proud member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she volunteered her time at St. Mary’s school for many years.
René is survived by her husband, David; children, Bridget Garcia (Chuck), Michelle Clark, and Nicholas Clark; parents, Abe and Roberta DeHerrera; sisters, Brenda Bundy (Dennis), Natalie Frey (Bob), Beverly DeHerrera (Jay Otto), and Alison Hayden; sister-in-law, Cindy Lamblin (Bret); brother-in-law, Phil Clark (Anita; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gilbert and Maria DeHerrera, Ida and Howard Vogel; and mother-in-law, Bernice Clark.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, 1:00 p.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
