Raymond “Ray” Merle Redden, 71, of Cheyenne, died on January 24, 1948 in Cheyenne.
He was born on April 16, 1948 in Benkelman, Nebraska and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Ray was a truck driver and loved horses, black cattle, Nebraska Cornhusker’s football, and was an auctioneer, sale barn manager, and a man of many hats.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Redden; children, Vance Redden (Missy), Heath Redden (Julie), Daniel Raisch (Kristina), Craig Raisch (Shinata), Dale Raisch (Stacy), and Nadine Hutchens; siblings, Richard Redden (Ethel), Rex Redden (Kay), Robert Redden (Rose), Russell Redden, David Redden (Auralia), and Rhonda Munson; seventeen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Hilda Redden; and two brothers, Ronnie and Roger.
Services will be Friday, 1:00 p.m., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
