Raymond W. Hall, 87, of Cheyenne passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 11, 1927 in Kankakee, Illinois. He grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana across the street from the love of his life Betty, whom he married in Kimball, Nebraska on March 28, 1945. They have lived in Cheyenne for the past 64 years.
Raymond served in the Merchant Marines during WWII and later in the Wyoming Air Guard.
He later worked for Albertsons as their Dairy Manager.
Raymond was a member of the American Legion Post 6 and a lifetime member of the VFW 4343. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Betty Hall; son, Allen (Susan) Hall; two daughters, Penny (Rick) Braunschweig and Cindy (Leon) Pierce; sister, Dorothy Burke; six grandchildren, Misty (Kody) Malmborg, Bryan (Hollie) Braunschweig, Amber (Kevin) Telander, Walter Hall, Lance Pierce, and Nicole Hall; four great-grandchildren, Kaci Malmborg, Kolton Malmborg, Titus Hall, and Juliet Bussell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florence Hall; sister, Florence “Sis” Nattkemper and three grandchildren, Arron Hall, Tana Hall, and Jason Braunschweig.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Reception immediately after interment at the American Legion Post 6.
Casket bearers will be Walter Hall, Kolton Malmborg, Bryan Braunschweig, Titus Hall, Lance Pierce, and Kevin Telander.
