Raymond Garrido, Ret, USAF, M/Sgt, 84, passed away August 17th at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 31, 1932 in Lodi, California and had lived here since 1979.
Raymond served in the United States Air Force, serving during Vietnam and the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, westerns, and music.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Evelyn; seven children, Theresa Hinson, Vickie (Benjamin) Sanchez, Stella (Randolph, Jr.) Taylor, Rose (Stu) Harrington, Judith (Danny) Alcon, Raymond (Barbara) Garrido, Richard (Vicki) Garrido, and Joey (Tammy) Hernandez; brother, Richard Garrido; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvino and Eulalia Garrido and seven siblings, Greg and Lee Garrido, Mary Perez, Carmen Gonzales, Nellie Armendarez, Julia Garrido, and an infant sister.
Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel
Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Olivet Cemetery.
