Ray C. Rizzuto, 58, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born on July 1, 1956 in Cheyenne and had lived here all of his life.
Ray founded Action Fence and then began work in the floor covering business. He enjoyed flipping houses with his son Clay, was an accomplished team roper, and loved the lake. Ray was an 18 year Leukemia survivor who was truly a family man.
Ray is survived by his wife Ann; three daughters, Lisa Ruud (Kevin), Dani Rizzuto (Derek McFarland), and Savana Baker (Matthew); a son, Clay Rizzuto (Carol McAdams); two brothers, Frank (Maggie) and Bob (Donna) Rizzuto; a sister, Sue Garey (Terry); grandchildren, Layne Hamilton, Jaxx McFarland, Madison McAdams, and baby Ruud on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Beverly (Homan) Rizzuto.
Memorial services will be Saturday, 4:30 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A reception will immediately follow at Messenger's Old West Museum.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
