Ramona Hernandez, 85, was reunited with her soul mate, Ponce, on Saturday, May 3rd.
She was born December 9, 1928 to Federico and Uvalda (Sanchez) Berg in Buena Vista, New Mexico. She was the third of twelve children. Ramona’s love was evident to family and friends she spent time with throughout her life. She always had the last “I love you”.
Ramona was always ready to help. Her kindness and acts of compassion will forever be remembered by all who knew her. Our mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be missed. We will cherish her in our hearts forever. Ramona enjoyed her work retirement since 1985, traveling and going to Blackhawk. She was actively involved with St. Joseph’s Choir, St. Joseph’s kitchen crew and the Polka Club for many years.
