Ralph N. Van Winkle, 71, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at his home on March 25, 2016. He was born on February 9, 1945, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to John and Elma Van Winkle.
He graduated in 1963 in Carlsbad, then joined the Navy. He eventually moved to Cheyenne, where he married the love of his life, Linda, for 46 years. He retired in 2008 from the U.P. Railroad after 30 years.
Ralph enjoyed every season of hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends, making precious memories to be cherished forever. He loved to visit his children and grandchildren.
Ralph is survived by wife, Linda; son, John Van Winkle; daughters Rhonda (Scott) Yardas, and Melinda (Jason) Krazer; grandkids Morgan, Jordan, Zoe, Kylie, Kyra, Charlie, Cale, Wyatt, and Noah; brother Roy (Wynona) Van Winkle, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Lucille Blankenship.
