Ralph William Sabado, 68, died on August 24th at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne. He was born in Cheyenne on May 16, 1948 to Billy and Esther Sabado and attended Cheyenne schools, where upon he joined the US Army at age 17. Ralph remained a lifelong resident of Cheyenne and worked as a diesel mechanic in several local shops. Ralph served one tour in Korea and one tour in Vietnam beginning in 1965 and ending in December of 1968. He was honorable discharged as specialist E5. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca, and son Peter Spakowsky, many cousins, and one aunt; Victoria Barela, who live in Wyoming, Colorado, and Alaska, several god children, and many friends. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents. Vigil for the deceased will be held Wednesday September 7th at 6:00 pm at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral Liturgy with military honors at St. Joseph Catholic Church will be held on Thursday September 8th at 10:30 am with Father Carl Gallinger officiating.
